Equality

At St. Agnes Brainy School (SABS), we are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of school life. We take pride in being a mixed-race, multicultural, and child-centered institution that values the uniqueness of each learner and staff member.

Guided by the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana, Article 17 (Equality
and Freedom from Discrimination), we affirm that all persons are equal before
the law and must not be discriminated against on the basis of gender, race, colour, ethnic origin, religion, creed, or social or economic status.

We also uphold the principles of Section 3 of the Children’s Act, 1998 (Act 560) and the Ghana Education Service Gender and Equity in Education Policy, which
ensure that every teamer has the right to equal access to quality education in a safe and inclusive environment.

At SABS, we believe that:

  • Every learner deserves equal access to quality education that meets their academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Teaching and learning must be inclusive, flexible, and responsive to individual differences in learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
  • The school environment must remain safe, fair, and supportive for all learners, teachers, and staff members.
  • Discrimination, bullying, or bias in any form, whether direct or indirect, will not be tolerated.

This policy reflects our vision to nurture intelligence, character, and potential in every child, ensuring that no learner is left behind. Our inclusive approach prepares children to respect diversity, appreciate differences, and become empathetic, responsible global citizens.
